Momtaz Islam
Momtaz joined the firm in November 2020 as a caseworker and subsequently was offered a training contract. She has completed her training contract and has obtained a commendation in the Legal Practice Course.
Momtaz works on the following areas:-
– Litigation/ Dispute Resolution
Momtaz is undertaking matters from the pre-litigation stages to the Court hearings.
– Social Housing/Landlord and Tenant Law
Momtaz has taken on housing matters and has obtained success by assisting families with relocating to safe and suitable accommodations. She has also successfully assisted Tenants and has commenced work on assisting landlords with eviction
– Conveyancing
During the training period, Momtaz worked in the conveyancing team and assisted in residential conveyancing from pre-completion to post-completion.
– Immigration
Momtaz has worked on immigration law, particularly preparing hearing bundles; drafting skeleton arguments; applications and judicial reviews. From the commencement of her employment to the present day, Momtaz has undertaken work on corporate immigration – obtaining a sponsorship license and has been successful.
– Other areas
Momtaz has commenced work on personal injury matters and employment law.
